Fuel Rewards Program
Pit Row Shell is a proud member of the Fuel Rewards Program. Unlike traditional rewards programs where you save up points to use much, much later, the Fuel Rewards program provides real, immediate savings on something you use all the time — fuel.
Whenever you shop, dine or make other day-to-day purchases at any merchant or restaurant participating in the Fuel Rewards program, you earn cents-per-gallon discounts on fuel known as Fuel Rewards savings. The savings you earn between fill-ups are then combined to drive down the price you pay at the pump.
It Couldn’t Be Easier
There are many ways to save with the Fuel Rewards Program. Best of all, it couldn’t be easier to earn AND redeem your rewards.
- Automatically save 3¢ / gal every time you buy gas, just for being a member.
- Earn 10¢/gal for every $50.00 you spend at participating restaurants, bars and clubs.
- Earn 5¢/gal with online purchases at selected retailers and travel services.
- Earn 5¢, 10¢ or 15¢ / gal on selected purchases inside our Shell Station Convenience Stores.
- Earn additional per gallon savings through special credit card offers.
- For a limited time only, Save 25¢/gallon on your 2nd fill up after registering!
It often seems that shopping for gasoline is like playing slot machines in Las Vegas. How much will you pay at this station? How much will gas cost this morning? Maybe I should wait until after lunch? Where’s the best deal? Wouldn’t it be great if YOU could determine the price you pay?
Well, hold onto your wallets folks – we caught up with a local Green Bay resident who seems to have found just such a deal at a Pit Row Location:
“I had been hearing about the great savings on the Fuel Rewards Program offered at the local Pit Row Shell Stations. I didn’t really understand it, and thought it must just be another “loyalty card gimmick,” that gets you to spend more money – to offset the supposed savings.
I registered for the card anyway – just for the heck of it, but didn’t think any more about it for a couple of weeks. Then, I started really checking it out. I visited the Pit Row station on University Avenue, right near the University Market grocery store. As I looked around inside their convenience store, I saw all kinds of Fuel Rewards deals posted. For example, I saw one sign that said “Buy 1 20oz Squirt, and save 5 cents a gallon on gas.” I looked closely, and the price for the soda was about the same as I pay anywhere else – and it’s a soda that I typically keep on hand for the guy who mows my lawn. So, I bought 3 of them to take home. I also picked up some Solomon’s Beef Sticks – priced the same as at other local groceries, and a couple other items – all at very good, competitive prices.
When I paid for my items, I handed the clerk my Fuel Rewards Card, and then my credit card. When the clerk gave me my receipt, he explained that I had rewards totaling 55 cents a gallon – including a 25 Cents a Gallon “new member” reward, and would have until the end of the month to use them on up to 20 gallons of gas.
I figured he was reading it wrong, but sure enough; when I filled up the next time, I paid 55 cents less per gallon than the posted price.
This is a no-brainer. I didn’t buy anything other than items I typically buy, and I spent a lot less on gasoline – even though I filled up “to the brim.” I guess I don’t understand why anyone would not do this. Now I really understand the Pit Row slogan …… Earn and Burn!”
